TRANSPORTATION, DIRECTIONS & PARKING                               

a.- What is the address of the park?

b.- Is there transportation to the park?
Yes, you can purchase transportation from the cruise port to the park with set pick up & return times for $10 per person. Taxis are readily available at the port.
c.- How much is the transportation?
From the cruise port to the park, a taxi could charge $15 for the first 1 to 2 people & $7 for each additional person.
d.- Is there a parking lot at the park?
Sure thing, we count with plenty places to park at the Park complimentary for all guests.
e.- If I go on my own, what are the best driving routes to the park?

f.- Is it possible for the transfer bus to drop us off at a different location?
Our transportation arrangement has set pick up and return times as well as a specific route to the park and back to the port. Unfortunately, the driver won’t be able to drop you off at another location on the island as we are responsible for taking you back to the port.
g.- How do we find RFA transportation at the pier?
After disembarking from your ship please make your way to the Taxi Dispatch stand at the Port. Head towards the tall building with the screen, go past the information booth & you will see a sign for Taxi Dispatch. Please present your booking voucher (or a screenshot of your reservation) to the Taxi Dispatcher and he or she will ensure that you are placed in the correct vehicle. Transportation from the pier to the park is approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

a. - How far in advance can I book my trip?
Trips can be booked between a year to 1 week before arrival.
b.- Are there special rates for nationals?
Yes! The current resident rates (subject to change) are as follows:
● The Big Three (3 rides) is $69 for adults & $61 for children.
● The Soualiga Sky Explorer is $33 for adults & $25 for children.
● The Sentry hill zipline is $49 for adults & $42 for children.
● The Schooner ride is $44 for adults & $36 for children.
Please bring a valid SXM ID (St Maarten or St Martin driver’s license, ID card and health card are all considered valid forms of ID) to qualify for the resident rate.
c.- Is there a special rate for students?
Yes! University of St Maarten students the resident “children/senior” rate. Students will be required to show their ID card at the entrance in order to receive said rate SXM AUC Medical students studying on St Maarten are eligible for the resident rate once they show their ID card at the entrance.
d.- Is there a special rate for seniors?
Yes, Seniors (65+) receive a discounted rate (same as the child rate).
e.- Are there special rates for tourism agents?
No. At the moment we have no implemented special rates for Tourism Agents. Please have them contact the sales department for reservations (sales.sxm@rainforestadventure.com).
f.- Are there special rates for crew members?
Yes. Crew Members are eligible for resident rates, they must show their crew ID.

m.- What happens if I get sick the same day I booked for my visit?

n.- What happens if there’s a hurricane warning issued by the National Institution for the area where the park is located or for my place of residence, within 7 days of my scheduled arrival

If you are unable to reschedule, we will provide you with a full refund should a natural disaster prevent you from coming to the Park.
o.- If I cancel my trip, can I get a refund?
Cancellations up to 24 hours in advance will be charged a 25% service fee. Same day cancellations will not be refunded, even if not picked up or used. Cancellations based on factors outside the park.
p.- If I request a refund how long does it take to be processed?
Depending on the circumstances if payment was made at the park, refund or partial refunds can be processed immediately with management’s consent.

GUESTS WITH (VISUAL / HEARING / MOBILITY) DISABILITIES  

a. Is there any attraction that a person with (mobility/visual/hearing) disability can do?
If the person with a disability has someone accompanying them, and depending on their level of mobility, they can do most of the attractions.
● Sky Explorer: we can stop the chair lift for someone to be lifted or move from their wheelchair into the chair. They do need to be somewhat mobile on their own.                                                                                  ● 360° Viewing Decks: it is wheelchair accessible however the guest needs to have someone with them to assist them around the decks.
● Schooner: they need to be able to crouch down and sit in the tube. They will also need to be able to stand (with assistance) to get out of the tube.
● Sentry Hill: full mobility required.
● Dutchman: The guest needs to be able to hoist themselves up into the chair but can be assisted out of the chair at the bottom.
b. Can I rent a wheelchair? / Can I take my wheelchair?
We have a couple of wheelchairs available at the Park however they must be requested / reserved in advance. Additional wheelchairs can be available for rent through another partner.

Sentry Hill Zip consists of 4 different zip lines spanning 500-meters each. Guests will get the opportunity to traverse the mountain ridge to each platform.
b. Can more than one person sit in a tube?
Schooner ride only permits one per tube.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         c. How many zip lines are on The Flying Dutchman?
Flying Dutchman consists of 4 zip lines. Each guest will be harnessed in a chair and launched down the mountain next to each other.

CURIOSITIES                                                                                     

a.- Can I take my Go Pro?
Go Pro/Cameras/Phones are not permitted on the attractions (Flying Dutchman/Schooner/Sentry Hill Zip) unless it’s attached with a head/chest strap mount. Guests are free to use their GoPro/Camera/Phones on the Sky Explorer and 360° Viewing Deck. We recommend using it attached with a strap, as we have no retrieval process for items dropped or lost while on any of the attractions.
b.- Are there lockers?
Yes, there are lockers available for rent ($5 each).

Comfortable or athletic clothing and closed toe sturdy shoes are required.
d. Do I have to wear knee-length shorts?

TRANSPORTATION, DIRECTIONS & PARKING                               

a.- What is the address of the park?
LB Scott Rd #59, Cul de Sac, Sint Maarten.
b.- Is there transportation to the park?
Yes, you can purchase transportation from the cruise port to the park with set pick up & return times for $10 per person. Taxis are readily available at the port.
c.- How much is the transportation?
From the cruise port to the park, a taxi could charge $15 for the first 1 to 2 people & $7 for each additional person.
d.- Is there a parking lot at the park?
Sure thing, we count with plenty places to park at the Park complimentary for all guests.
e.- If I go on my own, what are the best driving routes to the park?

f.- Is it possible for the transfer bus to drop us off at a different location?
Our transportation arrangement has set pick up and return times as well as a specific route to the park and back to the port. Unfortunately, the driver won’t be able to drop you off at another location on the island as we are responsible for taking you back to the port.
g.- How do we find RFA transportation at the pier?
After disembarking from your ship please make your way to the Taxi Dispatch stand at the Port. Head towards the tall building with the screen, go past the information booth & you will see a sign for Taxi Dispatch. Please present your booking voucher (or a screenshot of your reservation) to the Taxi Dispatcher and he or she will ensure that you are placed in the correct vehicle. Transportation from the pier to the park is approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

RESTAURANTS                                                                                 

a.- Are there restaurants at the park?
Yes, you can have a delicious meal at Emilio's, wich is located in our park. Click here  to know more about Emilio's!.
b.- Can I celebrate a birhtday party at the park?

BOOKING TICKETS & DISCOUNTS                                                

a. - How far in advance can I book my trip?
Trips can be booked between a year to 1 week before arrival.
b.- Are there special rates for nationals?
Yes! The current resident rates (subject to change) are as follows:
● The Big Three (3 rides) is $69 for adults & $61 for children.
● The Soualiga Sky Explorer is $33 for adults & $25 for children.
● The Sentry hill zipline is $49 for adults & $42 for children.
● The Schooner ride is $44 for adults & $36 for children.
Please bring a valid SXM ID (St Maarten or St Martin driver’s license, ID card and health card are all considered valid forms of ID) to qualify for the resident rate.
c.- Is there a special rate for students?
Yes! University of St Maarten students the resident “children/senior” rate. Students will be required to show their ID card at the entrance in order to receive said rate SXM AUC Medical students studying on St Maarten are eligible for the resident rate once they show their ID card at the entrance.
d.- Is there a special rate for seniors?
Yes, Seniors (65+) receive a discounted rate (same as the child rate).
e.- Are there special rates for tourism agents?
No. At the moment we have no implemented special rates for Tourism Agents. Please have them contact the sales department for reservations (sales.sxm@rainforestadventure.com).
f.- Are there special rates for crew members?
Yes. Crew Members are eligible for resident rates, they must show their crew ID.
g.- Can I have a private event at the park?
Yes. Please have them contact the sales department (sales.sxm@rainforestadventure.com) as it is possible depending on the date.
h.- Are there group discounts?
Yes. Group discounts for every 15 persons you can receive 1 person of equal value complimentary. Please have them contact the sales department (sales.sxm@rainforestadventure.com) for
bookings as reservations & prepayment are required.                                 I.- I am unable to add a promo code to The Flying Dutchman, can you help?
Unfortunately, promo codes are not accepted on packages that included The Flying Dutchman and The Big 3 as well.
j.- What are the payment methods available?
● Cash (USD, Antillean Guilder, Euros).
● VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express and Fun Miles.
k.- Do I need to print my tickets to show at the entrance of the park?
You can either print or show your reservation via phone as there is free WIFI at the Park.
l.- Can I reschedule my visit to the park?
Yes, you can a minimum of 24 hours prior. Please reach out to us at reservations.sxm@rainforestadventure.com to reschedule your visit. Kindly note it is subject to availability.
m.- What happens if I get sick the same day I booked for my visit?
Please reach out to us at reservations.sxm@rainforestadventure.com to reschedule your visit to the Park or emiliossxm@gmail.com for the Restaurant. We are also available via telephone at 1- 721-543-1135 / 32.
n.- What happens if there’s a hurricane warning issued by the National Institution for the area where the park is located or for my place of residence, within 7 days of my scheduled arrival
date?
If you are unable to reschedule, we will provide you with a full refund should a natural disaster prevent you from coming to the Park.
o.- If I cancel my trip, can I get a refund?
Cancellations up to 24 hours in advance will be charged a 25% service fee. Same day cancellations will not be refunded, even if not picked up or used. Cancellations based on factors outside the park.
p.- If I request a refund how long does it take to be processed?
Depending on the circumstances if payment was made at the park, refund or partial refunds can be processed immediately with management’s consent.

GUESTS WITH (VISUAL / HEARING / MOBILITY) DISABILITIES  

a. Is there any attraction that a person with (mobility/visual/hearing) disability can do?
If the person with a disability has someone accompanying them, and depending on their level of mobility, they can do most of the attractions.
● Sky Explorer: we can stop the chair lift for someone to be lifted or move from their wheelchair into the chair. They do need to be somewhat mobile on their own.                                                                                            ● 360° Viewing Decks: it is wheelchair accessible however the guest needs to have someone with them to assist them around the decks.
● Schooner: they need to be able to crouch down and sit in the tube. They will also need to be able to stand (with assistance) to get out of the tube.
● Sentry Hill: full mobility required.
● Dutchman: The guest needs to be able to hoist themselves up into the chair but can be assisted out of the chair at the bottom.
b. Can I rent a wheelchair? / Can I take my wheelchair?
We have a couple of wheelchairs available at the Park however they must be requested / reserved in advance. Additional wheelchairs can be available for rent through another partner.

MY RAINFOREST ADVENTURES EXPERIENCE                              

a.- I want to buy my picture, how can I get it?
Yes, photos can be purchased at the Gift Shop on property with a quick scan of the wrist band.
They can either be printed on site or sent to your email.
b.- I want to buy a souvenir, how do I pay it and do you send it to me?
Souvenir can be purchased at the gift shop, on property.

ATTRACTIONS                                                                                  

a. How many zip lines does the Sentry Hill Zip Line consists of?
Sentry Hill Zip consists of 4 different zip lines spanning 500-meters each. Guests will get the opportunity to traverse the mountain ridge to each platform.
b. Can more than one person sit in a tube?
Schooner ride only permits one per tube.                                                         c. How many zip lines are on The Flying Dutchman?
Flying Dutchman consists of 4 zip lines. Each guest will be harnessed in a chair and launched down the mountain next to each other.

CURIOSITIES                                                                                     

a.- Can I take my Go Pro?
Go Pro/Cameras/Phones are not permitted on the attractions (Flying Dutchman/Schooner/Sentry Hill Zip) unless it’s attached with a head/chest strap mount. Guests are free to use their GoPro/Camera/Phones on the Sky Explorer and 360° Viewing Deck. We recommend using it attached with a strap, as we have no retrieval process for items dropped or lost while on any of the attractions.
b.- Are there lockers?
Yes, there are lockers available for rent ($5 each).
c.- What do I have to wear to go to the park?
Comfortable or athletic clothing and closed toe sturdy shoes are required.
d. Do I have to wear knee-length shorts?
Knee length shorts are recommended but not required. Guests are welcome to wear any pants he/she feels most comfortable in.
e.- Can I go in sandals or flip flops?
Closed toe sturdy shoes are required.
f.- Is there a place where children can play while I’m doing the attractions?
Kids must be supervised at all time by their parents/ Legal guardians.
