MIAMI, FLORIDA (February 22, 2011) – Rain Forest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic debuted its new AdrenaLine on December 15, 2010. The 700-meter zip line serves as a gripping addition to the park’s famed zip line course.

The one-minute AdrenaLine zip line packs a punch of speed and adventure, as riders soar 700 meters through the Costa Rica rainforest canopy. The AdrenaLine can be combined with the park’s entire circuit of 10 zip line cables, or just the last three lines for a shorter trip. Admission is $10 USD.

The AdrenaLine has been built according to ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Technology) standards. Two experienced guides assist riders from the adjoining platforms. Pre-course training allows for riders of all experience levels to strap in and zip away.

Rain Forest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic’s exhilarating zip line tour takes guests flying across the magnificent Molinete River several times. The attraction consists of 10 zip lines with 14 platforms, plus the new AdrenaLine, in between stretches of rainforest canopy. The park is located 50 minutes from San José on the Braulio Carrillo highway.

About Rain Forest Adventures

The original Rain Forest Aerial Tram Atlantic was established in 1994 in Costa Rica by H.J. Von der Goltz, a visionary and nature lover. It was the first operation of its kind anywhere in the world, with a unique requirement: it had to be built in the middle of 1,200 acres of dense jungle without impacting the forest. Today, five Rain Forest Adventures parks are located in Costa Rica (Pacific and Atlantic), Saint Lucia, Dominica and Jamaica, serving as wildlife reserves and ecotourism attractions. The exceptional combination of attractions such as the Tram ride, Bobsled and Zip Line plus the experience, training and commitment of a multi-lingual and naturalist guides guarantees an educational, adventurous and unforgettable experience for guests.
