Located on the northwest coast of St. Lucia, 4 miles from Castries (capital of St. Lucia), Villa Beach Cottages stand among the lush tropical gardens, framed by coconut trees on Choc Bay, just a few yards from the edge of the Caribbean Sea. Small, unique, and picturesque, the 20 villa suites pay homage to St. Lucia's textured heritage, drawing on elements of the island's rich colonial architecture in the gingerbread gables and jalousie-framed windows.

Nature is brought inside through the use of all locally-made wooden furniture. Villa Beach Cottages also reflect the natural wonder of St. Lucian paradise in locally-commissioned art works. And to make each villa suite is special, architectural features of cathedral ceilings, intricate fretwork, wooden shutters, medallions and finials are all incorporated with great care. And along with the designs that are unique to St. Lucia, a feel of casual but luxurious island living is also offered by each suite.

At the Villa Beach Cottages, all the villa suites of one and two bedrooms are fully self-contained, with living and dining rooms and breezy, private verandas with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea, lush green mountains of the northern coastline and a small offshore island.

The deluxe villa suites features state-of-the-art in room amenities including LCD flat screen TVs, DVD and CD players and Hi-speed internet access. Luxurious with intricately carved four-poster beds, living/dining rooms with indigenous designer furniture, fully equipped kitchens with marble countertops and large appliances and balconies with teak furniture and steamers. The deluxe one-bedroom villa suites also feature bathrooms with his & hers pedestal sinks and in-room jacuzzis with a sea view.

The villa suites at Villa Beach Cottages are fully self-contained and designed to give a sense of seclusion for visitors, yet are minutes away from many convenient dining, shopping and entertainment areas.

Beach

A golden sandy beach kissed by the Caribbean Sea is literally feet from the villa suites.  Walk hand in hand in both directions along Choc Bay and watch a glorious sunset. For relaxation beach chaise loungers, umbrellas, cushions and beach towels are provided free of charge. There is also a beach bar and restaurant next to Villa Beach Cottages along the beach.

Swimming pools

A picturesque small plunge pool with waterfall and extensive decking, and a full-size swimming pool fed by the constant flow of a river rock waterfall that pours first into an inviting heated jacuzzi and then into the cool clear water, the pools are surrounded by cut white stone and tropical hardwood decking with chaise loungers and market umbrellas.

Gazebos

Ideal for exchanging wedding vows or a sunset toast to the good life, the two Villa Beach Cottages gazebos are perched on the sea wall overlooking the expanse of the Caribbean Sea.

With a days’ notice, request the skills of in house chef and dine in at the intimate Coconuts Restaurant under the hanging blossoms of Bell Buttercups and overlooking the water. Customize your menu from fresh, local ingredients and linger over the meal, at your own pace or have it set up in your our private balcony.

Watersports

Ocean kayaks can be used to traverse the serene bay or to get to and explore an offshore islet that has a small beach and underwater coral site. Snorkeling gear is available on property.

Villa Beach Cottages has three guest services cottages on property intended to help make your stay as comfortable and as convenient as possible: Koko’s Mini-mart for basic grocery items; the guest laundry mat to do your own laundry; and the Internet cafe to check your e-mail or to peruse the book and DVD library.
