Rain Forest Adventures Mystic Mountain Bobsled Jamaica celebrated its third anniversary as a top attraction in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, with the adoption of a local school. During the Mystic Mountain Third Anniversary Celebration event on June 19, 2011, the eco-adventure park formally announced its adoption of the Great Faith Basic School in Exchange, Ocho Rios.
Rain Forest Adventures Mystic Mountain Bobsled Jamaica has pledged to improve and maintain the school’s infrastructure. Recently, staff members visited the school to give it a face lift and have encouraged the students to plant a tree each week, which will be transported to the rain forest once large enough.
This year, Mystic Mountain also plans to add a Hummingbird Garden dedicated to Horace Clarke, co-partner and chairman of the park, and Barbara Drakulich, the late wife of managing partner Mike Drakulich. The garden will consist of flora, fauna and beautiful exotic birds to honor their memory.
Inspired by the original Olympic Jamaican Bobsled Team, Rain Forest Adventures Mystic Mountain Bobsled Jamaica has entertained visitors for three years with its signature attraction, the Mystic Mountain Rain Forest Bobsled Jamaica. Zip lining, the Sky Explorer, a Jamaican sports museum, infinity pool with waterslide, great dining and events are also available at Mystic Mountain. The park also maintains a mission of sustainability and respect for its environment. www.rainforestadventures.com
