RAIN FOREST ADVENTURES ST. LUCIA OPENS AFTER HURRICANE TOMAS
MIAMI, FLORIDA (November 15, 2010) – Rain Forest Adventures St. Lucia re-opened at full capacity on November 7, after a temporary closing in the wake of Hurricane Tomas, which reached the island of St. Lucia on October 30.
“Despite the devastation to our island, we found strength in community support,” said Herena Cao, chief operating office for Rain Forest Adventures – Eastern Caribbean. “By working together, residents and park staff were able to clear the roads quickly, while distributing water and supplies to families in need”.
Rain Forest Adventures St. Lucia welcomes residents and travelers from hotels and cruise ships to this premiere eco-adventure destination. Attractions, all in operation, include the Aerial Tram, Tranopy Tour, AdrenaLINE zip line and the new AdrenaLUNA night zip line. The park has full electricity and water capabilities.
Parent company Rain Forest Adventures has also lent support to repair roofs and restore personal belongings of St. Lucia park staff.
Rain Forest Adventures at St. Lucia is located in the highland community of Chassin, approximately 2,000 feet above sea level at the base of La Sorciere. The park will continue to assist St. Lucia residents and businesses affected by Hurricane Tomas.

About Rainforest Adventures
The original Rain Forest Aerial Tram Atlantic was established in 1994 in Costa Rica by H.J. Von der Goltz, a visionary and nature lover. It was the first operation of its kind anywhere in the world, with a unique requirement: it had to be built in the middle of 1,200 acres of dense jungle without impacting the forest. Today, five Rainforest Adventures parks are located in Costa Rica (Pacific and Atlantic), Saint Lucia, Dominica and Jamaica, serving as wildlife reserves and ecotourism attractions. The exceptional combination of attractions such as the Tram ride, Bobsled and Zip Line plus the experience, training and commitment of a multi-lingual and naturalist guides guarantees an educational, adventurous and unforgettable experience for guests. www.rainforest-adventures.com
