Rainforest Adventures presents vibrant entertainment options, celebrating nature, cuisine and culture. Special events are designed by the park and set within the heart of the rainforest on Costa Rica’s Atlantic coast. Nighttime activities showcase Costa Rica’s eco-inspired arts. Family-friendly programs are a delight for all ages.

Rainforest Encounter

Rainforest Encounter is an interactive performance, based on the “awakening” of the rainforest, where a troupe of local actors, dancers and schoolchildren will accompany the tour group throughout the day. This is an enhanced one-day tour of the Rainforest Adventures park. During this exclusive visit, guests will enjoy incredible views of the tropical rainforest from the Aerial Tram. Additionally, they will enjoy a walk along well-groomed trails and will be pleasantly surprised by dancers interpreting nature. Cocktails will be served while participants take in unparalleled views of the forest. A deluxe buffet meal will be served in our Rainforest Restaurant. This event is complemented by an extraordinary dance and theater presentation called “Butterflies and Raindrops.” The show includes a performance by a classical string quartet. Tastes Like Color

Tastes Like Color is a magical, culture-filled evening in the middle of Rainforest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic’s exuberant rainforest. Treasure Hunt Adventure

Rainforest Adventures Treasure Hunt is a special interactive activity which is a fun way to learn about the rainforest. Complementing our regular tour features, in this activity, the group is divided into different teams, judged by our rainforest explorers, who will accompany them throughout the activity. The annual Christmas Bird Count, sponsored by the Audubon Society, is a joyous day of spotting bird species. More than a hundred ornithologists, tour guides and bird enthusiasts explore the rainforest by foot and aerial tram to monitor populations, while also identifying species new to the area. The data helps illustrate the behavior of migrating bird species.

Outside of the park, local events in the surrounding community warmly welcome residents and visitors alike.Each neighborhood is home to activities both traditional and modern.
